I had a dream about Brian last night. I miss him and think about him often. Thank you for your story.
Thank you, Kate. Brian touched us all in mysterious ways. I miss him too.
Yes indeed, a larger than life guy. Miss him immensely, we were together during our 20’s a magical time to be together and in San Francisco.
Thank you for this insightful remembrance.
Thank you D’Arcy. Spending part of your 20s with Brian Day in SF would definitely be a beautiful thing. Thanks for writing. It’s nice to hear from other people whose lives Brian touched.
Kevin:
Today would have been Brian’s 70th birthday and he would have hated it! I remember having to call you with the news when he passed. We were together for 10 years until life became too hard to handle. We all move on, but some dates just stick in your head.
I always think of the lovely story you wrote about a man you were just getting to know and his gorgeous photos that hang in my cottage of the Ricoletta cemetary, are a reminder of how amazingly talented he was. Like other gifted souls, he was gone way too soon…but never forgotten.
Love to you and Maria
Marilynn: Yes, I think of Brian often. It is interesting to imagine him at 70. Some people you meet affect you deeply — far beyond the short amount of time that you spend together. Lots of love to you – Kevin
He lead me to your story today….27 January 2026……..
Thank you……Mary
Thank you Mary. Brian was a magical person. I wish I could have shared so much more with him. But, as so many others have aluded, I still feel his presence leading me mysteriously onward…
